But I still enjoyed the book. Rich with sensory details, I felt like I was right beside the author on her journey, seeing, hearing, and smelling everything she did. She doesn't try to paint herself as heroic, which I appreciated. Just an ordinary mom dealing with a terrifying situation, sometimes well, and sometimes completely falling apart.

What I find so special about her writing is that it really invites the reader to be a witness to her pure and honest experience of "LIFE" as it happened to her. I am grateful to her courage to write such a deeply meaningful book, and am excited for more people getting familiar with her work.
